Administrator
3rd shift (12 p.m. – 9
a.m.)
(Reporting to Operations Supervisor)
An Operations position primarily responsible for monitoring and executing
nightly batch processing procedures and scheduled Operations tasks, with
secondary responsibility for monitoring and maintaining the company's global
hosting infrastructure.
Success
Factors
- Network Administrator with hands-on knowledge of web-based infrastructures
- Experience using Microsoft Windows NT/XP/2000/2003, IIS and Active
Directory.
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP.
- 3+ years experience working in a 24x7 network operations environment
- 1-2 years experience working as a computer operator responsible for
successful completion of batch processing jobs.
Intermediate knowledge of
Cisco-based networking devices.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent issues and work under pressure
- Experience working with an automated incident and change management system
- Strong communications skills
- Self-starter willing to work extra hours when necessary to achieve team
and individual goals
Responsibilities
Mission:
- Monitor nightly batch processing jobs and ensure that all jobs run to
successful completion. Communicate via email/telephone with clients and 3rd
party vendors.
- Monitor global network infrastructure and ensure high availability to all
clients.
Objectives:
- Logistics: Execute nightly batch jobs and report status to clients at
various intervals.
- Monitoring: Monitor a world class 24x7 hosting environment and proactively
detect infrastructure and application impairments. Escalate as needed.
- Incident Management: Respond to network monitoring incidents and client
email requests using a rigorous incident management process.
- Change Management: Execute change requests from CorrectNet staff and
provide detailed documentation for all tasks performed.
- Must be available to take part in weekend on-call rotation
Corporate Infrastructure
Mission:
- Assure global connectivity and high availability of corporate systems and
telecommunication infrastructure.
Objectives:
- Maintain our corporate network and desktop environment
- Maintain our IP telecommunication infrastructure
- Maintain multiple offices and secure remote access by employees

Provide a high level of customer
service to our CorrectNet clients, most of whom are Advisors in the financial
services community. Our clients value the level of service we provide them as
well as demand the high level of security and confidentiality we insure them and
their respective clients.
IBA’s use our proprietary software to deploy functionality and build Web
sites for CorrectNet clients, and provide ongoing customer support. The
IBA is responsible for managing a portfolio of client sites in development as
well as supporting Internet Web sites in a live production environment.

Position Requirements
The Project Lead / Business Analyst
position is part of CorrectNet’s Delivery Team. The Delivery Team is responsible
for all activities from working with clients to define new project requirements
through release to production. The Project Lead is responsible for on-time
delivery of client’s requirements with budget and with client satisfaction. The
Project Lead / Business Analyst provides project oversight and reporting as well
as defines requirements and unit tests enhancements and new sites. The position
responsibilities include:
- Refines and Documents Client’s Business Requirements
- Refines or Develops Functional Requirements (Use Case / Schemas)
- Configures Site working with Design, Development and Operations Team
Members
- Prepares for and Coordinates all Client and Internal Meetings (Status,
Tech Committee, Minutes Preparation)
- Provides Requirements insight to Engineering, Development and Quality
Assurance Team Members
- Unit Tests completed development packages
- Develops, Maintains and Executes the Migration Plan of Packages and Sites
through promotion to Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing and Production
- Develops and Maintains Operations / Support information pertaining to the
release
Qualifications

Position Requirements
The Quality Assurance Analyst is
part of the QA Team at CorrectNet which reviews and certifies all new sites and
major modifications prior to release to UAT. The QA Analyst works closely with
the Project Teams throughout the project life cycle. The position
responsibilities include:
- Lead QA Test Projects
- Develop and execute manual test plans and test scripts.
- Provide estimates of testing time needed.
- Assess and communicate quality risks
- Develop test scripts with input from the assigned Project Lead.
- Execute test scripts and record results.
- Coordinate cooperative testing with our client’s Quality Assurance teams.
- Communicate test status and results to the project team and QA
Manager.

Implementers
CorrectNet is a rapidly expanding Long Island, NY corporation seeking a Web
Developer. The job of the Web Developer is to work with project managers,
business analysts, and developers to utilize XML and XSLT programming to create
web-reporting solutions.
In this position, you will work as a project team member to design and
develop web services for our Global 200 Clients that include Goldman Sachs, UBS,
Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, and others. Integrate content and implement
navigation based on functional requirements and wire-frames. Contribute to task
identification, work estimates, and schedules for development activities.
Resolve technical issues as assigned. Support deployment processes through QA
and to Production.
Experience:
- Solid 18 months of XML and XSLT
- Heavy experience on User Interface (UI) implementation as opposed to UI
design.
- Data modeling experience particularly with data set organization and
patterns
- Familiarity with financial services data and terminology, NET, HTML, and
Javascript.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years experience in web development.
